- Pay close attention to:
- What Should Be Included in a Bid.
- For REGION Scholastic tournaments TCA’s commission is $1.50 per player.
- For players with other TCA memberships no commission is required.
- For State Scholastic Championships only:
- If 500 players or more TCA’s commission is $3.00 per player.
- If less than 500 players TCA’s commission is $2.00 per player.
- For players with other TCA memberships no commission is required.
- For all other TCA tournaments, TCA membership is required.
- Other State Association memberships accepted with proof (OSA).
- Provide list of and with US Chess ID numbers for:
- Organizer
- Chief TD
- Is the Chief TD authorized to direct tournaments for the anticipated headcount?
- Other TD’s
- Are the organizers, tournament directors, and volunteers current TCA members?
- Provide the sponsoring affiliate’s US Chess affiliate number.
- Is the affiliate’s US Chess membership current?
- Is the affiliate a current TCA chess club?
- Region Scholastic Tournaments submit bids to:
- Region Director.
- Scholastic Committee Chair.
- The four elected TCA officers.
- Texas Scholastic Championships submit bids to:
- Scholastic Committee Chair.
- The four elected TCA officers.
- All other TCA tournaments submit bids to:
