One 1/2 point bye (rounds 1-4 only) allowed if requested before round one.
Texas Senior Champion will represent Texas in a National Senior tournament.
The Texas Chess Association and Arlington Chess Club announce the 2023 Texas Senior Chess Championship. Players who are at least 50 years of age compete for the title of Texas Senior Champion and the opportunity to represent Texas in the 6th Annual John T. Irwin National Tournament of Senior State Champions.
