Shortly before the new administration took office yesterday, Jeff French, Editor of Texas Knights, resigned effective immediately. We thank him for his years of service to TCA. This leaves TCA needing a new Editor in two weeks’ time as submissions would ordinarily be due for the next issue by September 15 and the issue would be published around October 1. Accordingly, TCA is now accepting applications for the position of Editor of Texas Knights. Applications are due by September 11.
The responsibilities of the Editor include:
- Seeking submissions for Texas Knights
- Assembling and editing six issues of Texas Knights each year
- Maintaining relations with the printing company
- Ensuring electronic delivery of Texas Knights
- Serving as an ex officio member of the Publication Committee
- Collaborating with the President on publication-related matters
The Editor is appointed by the President with board approval and collaborates with the President. The Editor may appoint an Assistant Editor to assist with the publication of Texas Knights. The Editor is compensated $400 per completed issue (up to $2400 annually). This is an independent contractor position. Apply now by completing this form:
