The Texas Chess Association is pleased to announce that bidding is open for all state championship events available for bidding to be held in 2027. You can submit tournament bids here.
The bidding deadline for priority events will be June 26. These events are the Texas Grade Championships (both North and South), Texas Girls Championship and the Texas Senior Championship.
The bidding deadline for all other state championship events available for bidding will be July 24. You can find a full list of available events in the bidding spreadsheet.
We have also recently updated the bidding guidelines to ensure that the guidelines are current with all TCA rules and policies and provide more helpful information for organizers. You can find the guidelines here.
