Notice is hereby given that the annual membership meeting of the Texas Chess Association will be held at 8:00pm on Friday, September 4 in conjunction with the Southwest Open at the La Quinta Inn & Suites, 303 Blum St, San Antonio, TX 78205.
This is an in-person meeting only. While everyone is welcome to attend, only members who are residents of Texas and at least 16 years of age are eligible to present motions and vote. Advance motions must be submitted by 11:59pm on August 14. Please submit all motions through the submissions form.
In addition to advance motions, this meeting will also include reports of officers, certification of election results, presentation of annual awards and approval of the annual budget. An advance agenda will be posted at least two weeks before the meeting.
