More than 1200 players participated in the 2023 Texas Superstate Scholastic Chess Championship from March 3 – 5, 2023 in McAllen. The large event was organized by TCA and direct by Louis Reed (Chief TD) and Luis Salina (Chief Assistant TD), and a large group of directors from all over Texas.
