The Bylaws Committee is working on a comprehensive revision of the Bylaws to be presented at the 2025 annual membership meeting. We are seeking stakeholder input to guide this process. You can provide feedback with this survey.
The committee is pursuing this process for several reasons: (1) The Bylaws contain many provisions that are redundant, obsolete or do not reflect how TCA actually operates; (2) A number of critical provisions are confusing and unclear, leading to unnecessary disputes and acrimony; and; (3) The scope of TCA’s operations and its volunteer base has grown substantially in recent years and will continue to do so, requiring TCA’s organizational structure to be revisited and revised as necessary. It should also be noted that TCA is well overdue for a bylaws rewrite as it last occurred in 1987.
